Liberian Government Issues Exequatur to Colombia’s Honorary Consul General on June 16, 2017
The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, on behalf of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Foreign Minister Marjon V. Kamara, has presented an exequatur to Mr. Houssein Cheaitou to serve as Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Colombia to the Republic of Liberia.

The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Colombia on the 13th of February held its 1st Colombian Film Festival
The 1st Colombian Film Festival titled “El día de la Cabra’ (Bad Lucky Goat) was held by the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Colombia on the 13th of February at the ROYAL GRAND HOTEL, 15th Street Sinkor, Monrovia.

2nd Colombian Film Festival was held by the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Colombia on December 7, 2020
As part of sharing the uniqueness of Colombian films and the message that come along with it, the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Colombia held her 2nd Colombian Film Festival titled “El día de la Cabra’ (Bad Lucky Goat) with students of the University of Liberia at the University Main Campus on Capitol Bypass in Monrovia.
Fight Against COVID-19 Pandemic
In an effort to identifying with Liberians during the Coronavirus Pandemic, the Honorary Consulate of Colombia provided financial assistance in the amount of $100,000 Liberian Dollars to an orphanage called Concerned Children in Difficult Circumstances Orphanage Home Incorporated (CCDCOH).
The donation was made on behalf of the Consul General, Mr. Houssein Cheaitou, by Ms. Valarie Sandra Johnson in New the Georgia Old Field on Friday, May 21, 2020. She indicated that the gesture was intended to assist a group of people that cannot afford especially during the time of COVID-19.
The donation was in the way of helping buttress the government of Liberia effort in providing for its people.
